Excellent service both times I have used them. The vans are not always new as with other hire companies but don't let that put you off as they are clean and drive perfectly. The price is very good and is all in including mileage. I would definately recommend Smiths and will use them again.

Thanks to all at Smiths Van Hire, especially Colin, who helped organise a van for us to borrow (free of charge) to take donations from the local villages for the victims of the Manchester bombing to the Manchester Children's Hospital. This was done at very short notice and there was no question that they would not support the village effort. Thanks again, it made it so much easier to transport everything in one vehicle rather than a convoy of cars.

Just a one-off task for me. I was pleasantly surprised at the good condition of the van. It was clean, tidy and the engine /gearbox felt much better than the mileage might have led me to believe. Good value and efficient service.
